A couple of weeks ago it was National Unicorn Day. When I found a picture of a unicorn card I made last year, I was asked to recreate for a friend. However, I had to use different papers and came up with something that looks quite different to the original.
The main image of this card is from Hunkydory's Little Book of Little Dudes and Perfect Princesses. I trimmed it down and backed it with some purple Dovecraft card, which I used for all my mats.
The first backing paper is from an old Trimcraft Simply Creative pad and the other papers are from Hunkydory For the Love of Stamps magazine issue one.
I finished with a sentiment cut using a Dovecraft die, sequins and a ribbon from my stash.
This was the original card I shared:
Hope you have a lovely week. Thanks for visiting today. Cathy xxx

I love your new unicorn card. But I love purple so the purple mats lift it I think.

You've used two of my favourites on your cards Cathy - both unicorns and rainbows. I think both your creations are beautiful in different ways. Hope you had a good demo and are making the most of your break. Shabneez x
ReplyDeleteStunning Cathy! I love Unicorns and if there is a Unicorn there definitely needs to be a rainbow. Creative Blessings, Tracy x
ReplyDeleteGreat card, love the extra vibrancy you've created in the second version. Lovely and colourful.
